Football Contracts
Football is totally different when it comes to money and length of contracts in comparision to baseball. Mostly because in football the lifespan is shorter. The game is to violent and it takes to much of a toll on your body to play at a all star level for 10 plus years. Very few exceptions.
Certain positions especially like the Running Back. It is said that you have about 5 years tops of your best years in that position and after that you slow down. Which is true, the numbers prove it. Some positions do deserve a lot of money like the Quarter Backs. They get paid the most depending on who you are and they do play the most important position.

| Drew Brees- 5 years 100 million(60 million guaranteed) |
I have an issue with rookie contracts. Some of the rookie players get 40 million guaranteed or 50. They have NOT PLAYED ONE professional game and they already guaranteed to make so much money. Do not agree with that one bit!

Generally there is a lot of times nfl players get hurt and really are not able to fulfill their contract. Which makes everything a huge risk. Huge example is Michael Vick, great talent but does not play enough games to be worth 100 million dollars. He is injury prone!
